4 Squares of unsweetened baking chocolate
3/4 Cup or 1 1/2 sticks of butter or margarine
2 Cups of sugar
3 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1 Cup of flour
1 Cup coarsely chopped Pecans or Walnuts (optional)
Microwave unsweetened chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl on High 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
Stir in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add folur and nuts; stir until well blended.
Spread into a greased glass 13 X 9 inch baking pan.
Bake at 350 degree F for 30 to 35 minutes or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. Do not overbake. Cool in pan. Cut into 24 squares. Let stand before lifting squares out of pan.
